Passengers of NexusTours are now able to access free Wi-Fi during airport transfers or en route to and from excursions while on board one of NexusTours’ modern, branded vehicles. An innovative and leading provider of destination management services, NexusTours offers multiple types of transportation to suit the needs of every traveller and this new capability allows passengers to stay connected in transit. NexusTours’ fleet operates in major tourist hubs in Mexico including Cancun, Riviera Maya, Los Cabos and Puerto Vallarta in addition to other popular travel destinations such as Jamaica, Dominican Republic, Panama and Costa Rica.
“By adding free internet access on board our fleet of vehicles, we are reinforcing our commitment to the best customer service,” said Eduardo Obeso, Corporate Director of Information Technology, NexusTours. “It’s rewarding to be part of an organization that not only provides value-added services like this but stays at the forefront of technology, ensuring our customers have the best experience possible.”
“Smartphones are now the go-to method when sharing your experiences while travelling,” added Ruben Gutierrez, Managing Director, NexusTours. “We know that Wi-Fi will be useful, whether it’s an executive checking their email, couples sending messages to family or friends sharing photos and videos after an exhilarating experience.”
The process of adding on board Wi-Fi capability will roll out in phases. To begin, Wi-Fi will be included on transfers operated by dedicated NexusTours vehicles in Cancun and Riviera Maya, Mexico. Access will be added to the NexusTours branded fleet in Dominican Republic and Jamaica during the first quarter of 2016 followed by more destinations including Panama, Costa Rica, Los Cabos and Puerto Vallarta in the near future. This new service will also make it easier for customers to download the NexusTours’ Connect2Nexus app during their transfer to access exclusive promotions, browse and book excursions for the best price guaranteed, and more.
Operated by knowledgeable and multilingual personnel, NexusTours transportation fleet offers five different types of transfers: coach buses that seat nearly 60 people with reclining seats with TVs and restrooms onboard; minibuses that seat up to 10 people plus luggage comfortably; luxury vehicles offering modern and comfortable luxury air-conditioned cars or SUVs; VIP transport providing first-class options like helicopters and stretch limousines; and accessible transport services offered to passengers with mobility challenges.
