5 Must Do’s in Jamaica

When it comes to Jamaica you will never have a dull moment the locals would not allow that to happen, outside of your resort you will find endless beautiful white sandy beaches, local towns full of history and culture, mountainous landscapes and islands waiting for you to explore. We have done some extensive research to make sure you have one amazing vacation and adventure.

1. Dunn’s River Fall

Dunn’s River Falls which are regarded as the most famous and beautiful waterfalls in the world and is one of Jamaica’s national treasures. Globally, it is as well known as reggae and equally stimulating. There are few places where the Arawaknam “Xayamaca”- land of rivers and springs-is more apt.

The Spaniards called the area “Las Chorreras”,the water falls or springs and it is truly one of the most beautiful spots on the island. The Green Grotto Caves are among Jamaica’s most prominent natural attractions.

They are of international repute and have been seen by visitors since the 18th century. Situated on 25.9 hectares of the island’s beautiful North Coast, the caves are located between the resort centers of Ocho Rios and Montego Bay.

2. Appleton, Black River & YS Falls

Explore the beautiful and largely untouched south coast on this exciting nature and cultural tour. Take a boat ride along the Black River, this fragile ecosystem is a crucial preserve for over 100 bird species, plentiful game fish and around 300 protected crocodiles.

Explore the Mystic Mountain adventure park and blow the cobwebs away on the exciting zip-line and bobsled course. Soar through the rainforest canopy on 6 different ziplines averaging nearly 100 metres in length, brave the 25 metre vertical rappel descent and navigate the 25 metre suspension bridge to complete the course.

Feel the rush of adrenaline as you are strapped in and speeding around the mountain using only the power of gravity! Your specially designed handbrake lets you slow things down a little so you can enjoy the view of the landscape as you travel through the forest.

Enjoy a ride on the Sky Explorer to take you back up or down the mountain so there’s no need to exert yourself with lengthy walks!
